    Last updated: April 29, 2026

infraTerra, Inc. ("infraTerra," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website infraterrainc.com, the user portal, interactive intelligence tools, and related services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about visitors to our website and users of our portal. For information about how we handle confidential information shared during a paid engagement or project, see our separate Client Privacy commitments at /client-privacy.

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Account information. When you create a free portal account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (name, organization, role). Authentication is managed through our backend infrastructure.

Form submissions. When you submit a contact form, early access signup, discovery call request, or other inquiry, we collect the information you provide (name, email, organization, message content).

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, device type, browser, and IP address.

Tool inputs and outputs. When you use our interactive intelligence tools (the Florida Infrastructure Risk Explorer, the Lateral Ownership Map, the I&I ROI Calculator, and any other tools published on the Services), we may store your inputs and results if you choose to save them to your portal account.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use collected information to:

    • Provide and improve our research, intelligence tools, and content
    • Respond to inquiries and support requests
    • Send relevant communications about our research and intelligence (you can opt out at any time)
    • Analyze website usage to improve the user experience
    • Maintain security and prevent abuse

We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, or large language models, whether developed by infraTerra or by any third party.

    3. Analytics and Tracking

We use the following analytics services to understand how visitors use our website:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Provides aggregate data on traffic, page views, and user behavior. GA4 uses cookies and collects anonymized IP addresses.

PostHog. Provides product analytics including session recordings and feature usage data to help us improve the user experience.

Leadfeeder. Identifies companies visiting our website based on IP address data. This does not identify individual visitors.

Microsoft Clarity. Provides heatmaps and session recordings to understand how users interact with page elements. Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information.

    4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and collect analytics data. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some website functionality.

    5. Data Sharing and Monetization

We do not sell, lease, syndicate, or otherwise monetize your personal information. We do not accept commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees from third-party vendors based on your interactions with our website.

We share data only with third-party service providers who process it on our behalf (analytics providers, email services, hosting infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

    6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Contact form submissions are retained for business record purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention periods of each analytics provider. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

    7. Your Rights

    You have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you
    • Request correction of inaccurate information
    • Request deletion of your personal information
    • Opt out of marketing communications

If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable data protection laws, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@infraterrainc.com or call 888-880-PIPE (7473).

    8. Portal Account Data

User portal accounts store your email, profile information, saved tool results, content download history, and account preferences. You can update your information through the portal settings page. To delete your account and all associated data, contact support@infraterrainc.com.

    9. Gated Content and Downloads

Some content requires a free portal account to access. We track which content you download and when in order to provide a personalized experience and understand which resources are most valuable to our audience. This data is tied to your account and subject to the same protections as all account data.

    10. Relationship to Client Engagements

This Privacy Policy applies to website visitors and portal users. If you engage infraTerra on a paid project (research or analysis work), the confidential information you share during that engagement is governed by our separate Client Privacy commitments at /client-privacy, which include confidentiality by default, no client identification without consent, vendor neutrality, and other protections specific to engaged client relationships.

    11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

    12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders at least thirty (30) days prior to taking effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
